haha, I remember many conversations from chautauqua.

In fact, I was thinking about 8 yr-old Raven's wise words of "What is wisdom?"

Attempting to define it, I came up with: The ability to have all 3 of these consistantly. 1)Accurate Observations 2)Accurate Interpretation/Analyzation 3)Accurate/moral Action.

But now the definition of "accurate" and "moral" is where the bias comes in. Social bias, personal bias, and both. To avoid being hypocritical, I've adapted a kantian philosophy (which in layman's words would be the "do onto others as you would others do onto you"). It's a little more complicated than that, really it's all about giving sympathy to all agents of consciousness as you would others treat yours.

So perfect wisdom means to me as "the ability to observe the world exactly as it is, the ability to understand exactly what needs to be done to respect the most agents of consciousness possible, and the ability to act accordingly, anticipating all antagonistic forces and defeating them"

Personally, I've always wanted to be wise. Learning history, I find all these instances where people make stupid mistakes that ruin the most wonderful things. Watching horror movies, the unwise, foolish individual always dies first. I've had this fear of being stupid drilled into my mind over my entire youth. The above explains why I try to be like how I often am, I act in the manner of which has the least possibility of hurting others.

My often careful and inhibited manner is explained by my desire to be the morally superior (wise?) one, my fear of being the one blamed in the future (personal future, global future, any future), or my fear of being the one who dies first in the horror movie.
