Alright people! trebuchets!! I can't do calculus, so I'm not gonna know what I'm doing.
And yes, in the announcements I meant it, i wish we could work in teams, but it looks like your gonna be pretty much on your own. Unless, u need help, then maybe u can ask some questions.
However, i have a plan of action, and I hope others can do the same. I'm just gonna built a trebuchet, that from my intuition looks like it can launch water balloons, then plot a graph on how it reacts to changing variables. This way, I can do no math. Just have a bunch of graphs and a good ruler...:)
If anybody is good with calculus, metals/woods, or just projectiles, you are extremely welcome to come to the meeting on tuesday. It's just for sign ups, and for you to find people that u can organize into teams with. (3 person teams)
Valibor will go, but he's not too excited about making another trebuchet. And his is not exactly the best design for launching water balloons. The idea is, we will build a few, and test them in april (including valibor's). We will also bring all of them to the competition, cause u never know what might work out. And don't worry, it's our first year, we don't have to win first.
There, that's pretty much a summery of what will be said at the meeting. Please come.
