Oh well, I can be sheep for another 4 years after high school. I dunno if I can take it, but I'll try...

(in otherwords, I'm going to apply to a non-expensive big public college with classes that don't directly coincide with what you wanna do, and just bear with it for a little longer) Then try to get into a nice, small, graduate school and finally learn things that are directly related to my future occupation.

Ummm, just cuz you're going to a big, inexpensive school doesnt mean you gotta take random classes like a sheep. You'd prolly have more options than you would in a smaller school, so you'd at least wanna figure out what you're intersted in persuing, and then work your way up from there. Time is money. I think it's smart not to waste money on some expensive, private school as an undergrad, but that doesn't going to a cheaper school has to be a waste of time.
