Jul. 26th, 2006 12:31 amHey hey people.
I guess nobody knew, since I didn't tell anyone, but I'm in New Mexico right now, and tomorrow night me and my family (excluding Ben, my bro) will be in Houston, Texas.
This was my mom's idea. My brother (Ken, not Ben) goes to a taiwanese christian leadership camp every summer, and my mom (being the most religious of the family) is trying to use underhanded ways to reconvert me. I, who was never really religious, primarily a man of science of logic (although, admittedly lots of times poor logic/science), will be at this christian thing too.
Anyways, my mom is using the last trip that the family will have together (since everything will be falling apart after I go to college) as an oppurtunity to use my obligation to spend time with them to put me in a christian camp.
The trip there (to houston) has been so far... not bad. Just a normal family roadtrip, stopping at sites, hiking, etc. But after tomorrow, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do there.
I brought a chem book, since I'm planning on taking a placement test when I get back. So I might be able to kill some time while I'm in houston, or at the christian thing. But I'm not sure how long I can go without kicking some philosophical ass or throwing up.
Sidenote: To Velibor:
If you're still in houston with NASA, maybe I can come visit you and chill, or something. I'd be happy to skip out of christian camp, or see you in the evening when it's over or something. I'll leave a comment on your last post directing you to this post. But yeah, I'll be there from the 27th to the 30th, and then we'll be making the drive home. So if you need a ride home, we can get you back by the 6th lol.
