Feb. 16th, 2005 03:40 pmAhh, so yeah, i switched icons cause i discovered my old Taoism comics i used to read when i was younger when preparing for my TOK presentation. I read it again, and it even more sense than before, and it was just so satisfying. I mean, for european thinkers, you just get more and more questions with no answers. Whereas, with Lao Tze, he has answers. Or, at least he doesn't ask the pointless ones that do not lead one to any useful conclusions.
I dunno, so there's Lao Tze from the comic for you, and that thing he is leaning against is an ancient chinese water bottle, made by drying a kind of pumpkin and emptying the insides.
But that's besides the point.
Anyways, I can't believe i let myself go and look for a side. I mean, there is obviously no way that there is any group out there that fits me perfectly, so why should try to find one that fits? I'd only be compromising my own conclusions from my own experiences in life. And my experiences fit me best for the world that I live in, and the ability to keep learning and adapting is what will keep me safe.
And so tread carefully Ted and keep your eyes open. Practicality, is the way to go, and the ability to see what is practical is the wisedom.
