Dec. 31st, 2004 12:12 amMaybe I was completely off.
Maybe People need people more than I thought they did.
Maybe I need people more than I thought I did.
I mean, I recently acknowledged that it was almost impossible to live in society without letting people get to you.
But I never thought that it might be THAT important.
Maybe I was trying too hard to avoid people.
Maybe my original instincts were right?
I suppose I was overly disappointed in people,
and I over compensated for my "loss"
Maybe they were right?
And to quote Barbara Striesand(sp?) (yes, I actually remember this):
"People. People who need people. Are the luckiest people in the world."
