Here's that speech i promised. It was good. I'll look back at this with good memories. My only regret is that i want to see who voted what, get this straight. But oh well, you can't have it all. In my case i got nothing, maybe a lil prestege? No, nothing.

Of course this speech is made in my monopoly suit:

Some people have said that Interlake High School is pathetic. Well, I say, they don’t know what they are talking about. I say, the student body has made some awesome achievements.
Kudos to Drill (3rd in state) (Can I hear some love for drill? Come on! They got 3rd in STATE!! There’ only 50 of those!), Girl’s golf (perfect season), Horticulture (a 1st place and work in Boeing), Concert/Marching and Jazz band (multiple first places and other recognitions), Boy’s Basketball team (terrific season), track (including the Pole-vaulters- State competitors) and all the other recognizable teams and individuals. We’ve all done a wonderful job this year, winning places in competitions against schools much larger than us and successfully living up to AAA standards. That’s why I, Ted Lai wants to be an even deeper part of this school, and by being your President, I will make our days here easier and more fun. Because we’ve worked hard and I think we deserve it. Actually, let me ask you, want do you think you deserve? The best? PLEASE TELL ME THE BEST! YES THE BEST!

I know what I’m getting myself into. It takes time, dedication and skill to plan class activities and fund raising. This year’s officers did a great job of that, but I can give you more. I want to be able to get some feedback and even some class contributions and efforts, which is why I will take the time to listen to you and keep you well-informed. Anything you think of, tell me; any skills you have, I want to hear about them. I will make sure that I’m as available as possible, and I’ll even give you an email address and my screen-name IF I win.

It’s going to be a lot of work, but I’ll take the bulk of the load to help us make lots of money next year as our foundation for our senior year. Don’t we want a completely, outrageously, awesome Prom? Well, this and other class activities are going to cost big bucks, and I don’t want it to come directly from your pockets. So… I say vote on the T e d L a i, because I can take us to a great time next year and lead us into a financially solid senior year.
